Holiday Tree vs. Christmas Tree....eeeeuch.

This issue is one of the dumbest things to come down the pike in years! The congressman who brought it up is only pandering to his right wing fundamentalist voters.

It is NOT just Christmas these days. It is Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule (or Midwinter), Boxing Day, and New Years and probably a couple dozen other religions that celebrate the winter solstice around the world.

Our society has always been one of inclusion, and our constitution states that very clearly on the issue of religion, though I'm thinking it needs to be amended to keep our government from ENDORSING a certain faith as well.

Christmas is not in danger from any religion other than that of Almighty commercialism. So relax, sit down, shut up, let God be God, enjoy your particular chosen Holiday, and let everyone else enjoy theirs.
